You are invited to celebrate your outstanding achievement for five days and four nights, April 21-25, 2007, in Paris, France, one of the world's most celebrated cities.

Important Dates

February 16, 2007 - REGISTRATION LAUNCH, the web site registration will open at midnight Eastern Standard Time at which time you will be able to register and request your choice of activities.

March 15, 2007 - REGISTRATION DEADLINE, all reservations, tour registrations and guest information must be received by this date.

March 22, 2007 - FINAL EMAIL CONFIRMATION, you will receive your final confirmation via email outlining all of your registration data and the activities you have requested.

March 30, 2007 - MATERIALS MAILED, all materials for your trip will be mailed consisting of name badges, luggage tags and other necessary documents. Please allow 5 days for delivery of mailing.

April 6, 2007 - REGISTRATION WEB SITE CLOSES AND LAST DATE FOR CANCELLATIONS, you will no longer be able to make changes or updates to your registration after this date. All changes after this date will need to go to be email to registration@starwoodparis2007.com.

What is included?

Your trip includes the following for you and your guest:

Room and tax for the nights of April 21-24, 2007 at The Westin Paris
Round trip airfare for you and one guest to/from Paris, France which will get expensed through your property.
Airport transfers for you and one guest on arrival and departure date, April 20-21 and April 25, 2007
All scheduled meals and recreational activities
A 50% food and beverage discount at all host hotels F&B Outlets for non-scheduled meals. This will be reflected on your final bill upon check out.
All guests must be at least 21 years old.

SPG Option

If you are unable travel over the dates of the trip you may apply for SPG points instead. You will receive 140,000 SPG points in exchange for the trip. Please contact your Director of Sales & Marketing to process your request.

Air Travel

We suggest US based Starwood participants book their travel through StarTravel-New/Orbitz for Business accessible through the StarwoodOne E-tool drop down menu. E-mail StarTravel@starlodge.com if the StarTravel link is not listed in your E-tools. Participants from Canada should book their travel according to their current travel booking procedures.

There are 2 international airports, Charles de Gaulle is the largest and handles the majority of the capital's international traffic. It is located 45 minutes to 1 hour away from the city center. The smaller international airport is Orly, with Orly South & West, and is mainly reserved for international arrivals from other European countries.

Ground Transportation

Complimentary airport transfers for you and one guest to and from The Westin Paris will be provided on April 20 or 21 and April 25. You must provide us with your flight information during the registration process in order for us to arrange your ground transportation. If you arrive before or after the dates indicated above you will be on your own for ground transportation.

Travel Documents

Current passports are required to travel to Paris. At the time of registration we will need your passport number, the country where it was issued and your birthday.

Climate

You can expect temperatures in the 60's during the day and the 50's at night with occasional rain. Attire is casual for all daytime events. Please be prepared with a light coat and/or sweater for cooler weather.

France is 6 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time.
France observes daylight-saving time.

Currency

The currency in France is the Euro. The approximate exchange rate at this time is 1 euro (€) = 0.772 US dollar. See exact current exchange rate >>

Credit Cards and ATM machines are widely available in Paris and many other cities. It is recommended to bring a few hundred dollars cash to Paris just in case you can't get money from the ATM machines. It is significantly easier to use the ATM machines of US banks such as Citibank or HSBC than a Paris bank. Currency Exchange offices are available in airports and town centers.

Taxes

The sales tax in Paris, known as the TVA (taxe sur la valeur ajoutée), is 19.6%.

Electrical Current

The electric voltage in France is 220V. Hair dryers and universal shaver plugs are provided in each guest room. Converters and adapters are required for other personal electrical appliances and should be brought with you from home if required.

Language

The national language of France is French with many dialects spoken from region to region. Although English is the first foreign language spoken most, you may experience some language barriers.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be received by April 6, 2007 in writing by emailing registration@starwoodparis2007.com. If cancellations are not received by the above date, the full fee will be charged.
